As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for performing assessments that include case history, student and family interviews, review of auditory, visual, motor, and cognitive status, and identification of potential for effective intervention strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology assessments in school settings
  • Perform case history, including health status, education, socioeconomic, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds
  • Review of auditory, visual, motor, and cognitive status
  • Standardized and/or non-standardized measures of specific aspects of speech, spoken and non-spoken language, and cognitive-communication
  • Identification of potential for effective intervention strategies and compensations
  • Selection of standardized measures for speech, language, and cognitive-communication

Requirements:

  • NYS license as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • TSSLD/TSHH certification
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
