A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PET CARE SPECIALIST

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for the pets in our care. Each day, you will arrive ready to engage the dogs with fun enrichment activities that keep them active and entertained. Responsibilities include feeding, sanitizing pet areas, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility. Your hard work and compassion will ensure that every pet remains safe and content.

Whether you are walking our furry guests or interacting with their owners, you will approach every situation with warmth and kindness. Our clients can always rely on you to provide exceptional care for their cherished pets, as creating a positive experience for our furry friends is your top priority.


QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PET CARE SPECIALIST

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Experience in dog handling
  • Ability to work with dogs of various sizes and breeds
  • Proficient in taking photos with a smartphone
  • Basic computer skills
  • Capable of standing for the duration of your shift
  • Able to lift over 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work in all weather conditions

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A PET CARE SPECIALIST

This position requires working every other weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) and offers a variety of shift options. Our primary shifts are 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
