Oak View Group is seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at an exclusive members-only club restaurant in downtown Phoenix. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for the overall quality and profitability of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in partnership with the Executive Chef to ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory control, and staff supervision.
  • Develop and implement cost-control measures to optimize profitability.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a professional and polished approach in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and General Manager to achieve business objectives and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience in high-volume or fine dining environments, preferably in a supervisory or executive sous chef role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or culinary school graduate preferred.
  • Health and sanitation certification, as well as foodservice management certification, as required by state regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 100 pounds.
