Supply Chain and Production Coordinator

Assist in evaluating and organizing the production of finished goods essential for manufacturing in alignment with customer requirements and company standards, including the development of new products.
Gather data and generate reports to oversee stock levels and the requirements for finished goods.
Adapt to changes in scheduling as needed and communicate updates to relevant departments within the organization.
Collaborate with procurement on materials necessary for the scheduling of new products and research & development initiatives.
Examine production schedules to set priorities and create work orders.
Track inventory movement and systematically monitor the inventory of finished goods to determine production needs.
Procurement Responsibilities:Acquire goods and services required for the manufacturing of tortillas and related products, focusing primarily on materials essential for production and new product innovation.
Compile information and generate reports to maintain stock and inventory levels.
Handle purchase order entry and follow up on deliveries.
Facilitate the timely delivery of goods to the appropriate departments within the manufacturing facility.
Coordinate with department managers and supervisors regarding materials needed for new products and R&D projects.
Review production schedules to establish priorities and assess the availability of goods.
Monitor inventory movement and conduct weekly inventory tracking.
Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in the certification and approval of new suppliers to ensure compliance with vendor certification and quality standards.
Possess a solid understanding of general office practices and procedures.
Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
