PrideStaff is actively looking for a Logistics Coordinator to support a wood manufacturing organization. This role is a contract opportunity with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position. Below are the essential job details for consideration.
- Compensation: $19 - $20 per hour
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, starting from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Oversee daily shipment confirmations and ensure alignment with delivery documentation.
- Assist in planning and coordinating deliveries to job sites, managing production order flow to guarantee timely and safe pickups and deliveries.
- Distribute and organize tickets as necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email, including will-call support.
- Communicate customer service requirements to drivers, sales teams, and operational staff.
Maintain the scheduling database with accurate ticket information.
- Strong background in customer service.
- Experience handling a high volume of inquiries from drivers, customers, and sales personnel.
- Prior experience in logistics or transportation.
- Minimum of 2 years of basic computer proficiency, with a willingness to learn company-specific software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
- Self-driven and goal-oriented with strong work ethics.
- Able to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Foster and maintain a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with 10-key is essential.
- Willingness to undergo an oral drug test and a criminal background check prior to employment.
Compensation: Up to $20.00 per hour
