Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled OB Anesthesiology Nocturnist to join our team at Trinity Medical WNY. As a key member of our anesthesia department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and anesthesia services in our high-volume obstetric unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform obstetric anesthesia coverage in-house during designated hours, including epidurals, c-sections, patient assessments, and management.
  • Assist with code calls in the hospital and perform intubations, invasive lines (A line, CVC) as needed.
  • Place invasive lines (arterial line, CVC line) and demonstrate proficiency in neuraxial anesthesia.
  • Cross-coverage with the main OR may be possible, with medical direction of CRNAs or sitting own cases.

Licensing Requirements: BC/BE anesthesiologist with a NYS medical license and DEA registration. MOCA for physicians with board certification after the year 2000.

Coverage: A two-week rotating shift involving 6 weekday shifts (4 overnight and 2 during the day) and one weekend shift. The schedule will be made 3 months in advance.

Compensation: $550,000 per year with Trinity benefits and 10 weeks' vacation. A signing bonus of $75,000 is available, with additional bonuses for productivity.
