Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Neighborhood Health Center - WNY. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for and assist providers with examinations and treatments
- Maintain examination and treatment rooms, ensuring a clean and organized environment
- Participate in the patient intake process, taking vital signs and medical history, and updating medical records
- Assist in facilitating patient flow, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our patients
- Perform CLIA waived tests and lot controls as per manufacturer directions and clinic protocols
- Inventory medical supplies, ensuring we have the necessary equipment and materials
- CNA certification, Medical Assistant degree, or training program completion, or relevant related training or experience
- At least two years of related medical experience in an office/clinical setting, preferred
- Current CPR certification, preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Superb organizational skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work proactively and take initiative
- Results-oriented, creative, and persistent in accomplishing tasks
- Highly responsive, timely, accurate, and thorough in follow-up and follow-through
- Highly flexible, positive, and results-oriented attitude
- Excellent time-management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent judgment and discretion
