Nurse Practitioner

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality care to diverse individuals and families, regardless of their ability to pay.
Responsibilities:
- Perform nursing tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of supportive and restorative care under the direction of a registered professional nurse or licensed physician.
- Administer medications and provide treatments prescribed by providers.
- Perform immunizations and injections.
- Assist in facilitating patient flow for the provider to ensure a seamless and efficient patient flow.
- Maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc.
- Perform all CLIA waiver tests and ensure all tests are up to date.
- Demonstrate proper placement and documentation of PPD.
- Comply with patient information in the absence of an RN and consult with medical provider.
Requirements:
- Graduated from an accredited one or two-year nursing school.
- Must possess a current NYS License as a Practical Nurse.
- Must have current CPR certification.
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Superb organizational skills.
- Strong influencing skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work proactively and take initiative.
- Results-oriented; creative and persistent in accomplishing tasks.
- Solutions-driven with a systems orientation.
- Highly responsive, timely, accurate, and thorough in follow-up and follow-through.
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $25.50 (based on a full-time, 40-hour work week). Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other position-related components.
This position also offers a sign-on bonus for external hires, paid in installments throughout the employee's successful first year of employment.
