Robotics Software Engineer - Amazon Robotics
Amazon Robotics is in search of a talented Robotics Software Engineer to become a vital member of the Hardware Test Engineering division. In this role, you will concentrate on the development of innovative robotic systems.
Position Overview:
- Design and implement a framework for automating testing processes
- Plan and execute new software functionalities
- Drive automation initiatives for upcoming products
- Work collaboratively with diverse teams to improve product quality
Core Responsibilities:
- Establish requirements and minimize testing overhead
- Create user-friendly interfaces for engineers to facilitate self-service
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure alignment of functionalities
- Write organized and maintainable code
A Typical Day:
- Engage in the automation of testing plans
- Identify and propose enhancements for future developments
- Provide operational assistance for Amazon Robotics
Essential Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development
- 2+ years of experience in design and architecture
- Familiarity with robotic hardware and distributed systems
- Experience in developing applications for Linux
Desirable Qualifications:
- Comprehensive experience in the software development lifecycle
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
