About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Markets Middle Office Specialist to join our team at Wells Fargo. As a key member of our FX Middle Office, you will play a critical role in supporting the trading activities of our FX Sales and Trading business.

Your primary responsibilities will include trade capture, profit and loss reporting, reviewing market data, ensuring orderly flow of trades from front to back systems of record, and managing trade exceptions for all FX flows. You will also be expected to actively participate in project work and interact closely with multiple business partners, including front office, Finance, Technology, Confirms, Settlements, Market Risk, and other groups.

Main products supported are FX Spot, FX Forwards, NDFs, FX Options, exchange traded derivatives, and cross currency swaps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to large-scale planning related to profit and loss generation, attribution, and trades
  • Review, analyze, and resolve moderately complex trade issues that require in-depth evaluation
  • Lead team to meet functional area and process deliverables
  • Deliver a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and assist senior managers with industry-related initiatives
  • Serve as a mentor for less experienced analysts
Requirements
  • 4+ years of Capital Markets industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Preferred Qualifications
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial products: exposure to fixed income securities, derivatives, and foreign exchange
