Job Title: Derivatives Middle Office Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Derivatives Middle Office Consultant to join our team at Apex Systems. As a key member of our Corporate Treasury team, you will be responsible for supporting the CIB Front Office Market Data team in designing and implementing required controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend meetings and workshops to contribute to the final implementation of market data controls
  • Partner with middle office teams, front office staff, technology teams, and the Project Management team to coordinate project deliverables and resolve data quality issues
  • Conduct data quality reviews and execute prescribed remediation workflow rules regarding market data in Vasara
  • Present relevant information for Committee review monthly and lead investigation and approval of market data retirement where applicable
  • Work with partners to adopt and implement new data feeds, maintain and test the derivation approach of data parameters, and present new products or risk factors to committee

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of secured finance or relevant experience: repos, reverse repos, fixed income, prime brokerage, stock borrow, stock loan
  • Middle office operations experience
  • Data Analysis skills, including statistical analysis and VBA skills

Ideal Skills:

  • Statistical analysis skills, including the use of statistical methods to analyze trends or quality of data
  • VBA skills
