Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager

At Crossway, we are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our receiving department. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Receiving Operations:
    • Oversee the unloading, inspection, and processing of all inbound shipments.
    • Ensure accurate documentation and inventory of received goods.
    • Coordinate with production and carriers to schedule deliveries.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain accurate records of received goods and update inventory systems.
    • Oversee the storage of inventory in warehouse and flow rack locations.
    • Conduct regular audits to verify inventory levels and identify discrepancies.
    • Implement and monitor procedures to optimize storage space and organization.
  • Quality Control:
    • Ensure all received goods meet company quality standards.
    • Address and resolve any issues with damaged or incorrect shipments.
    • Work with the quality control department to implement improvements.
    • Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare and present reports on receiving operations.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Other Duties:
    • Perform other duties as needed to support the overall operations of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse receiving or similar role.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficient in inventory management systems and warehouse software.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
    • Standing and walking for extended periods.
    • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
