Hearing Assessment Specialist

We are seeking a qualified Audiologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
As a Hearing Assessment Specialist, you will conduct comprehensive medical evaluations using the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test. You will then complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in our computer portal, providing critical medical evidence for the VA to determine veteran benefits.
This is an in-person position that requires 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes per patient, with no evenings, weekends, or on-call duties. You will be reviewing and assessing 3-6 veterans per day on average, working 4 days a week from Monday to Friday.
We require an Au.D. degree from an ASHA Accredited school, a current license as an Audiologist, and meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
The salary for this role is estimated at $75,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience, based on national averages for Audiologists in Augusta, GA.
