Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Requirements:
    • Possess Texas Superintendent certification: Hold a valid Texas Superintendent certification or be eligible for certification.
    • Doctorate preferred: A doctorate degree in education or a related field is preferred.
    • Minimum 3 years of superintendent experience: Have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a superintendent or in a similar leadership role.
    • Minimum 5 years of administrator experience: Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an administrator or in a similar leadership role.
    • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience: Have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Planning and construction experience: Have experience with planning and construction projects, including budgeting and project management.
    • School finance and budget experience: Have experience with school finance and budgeting, including financial planning and management.
    • Experience with bond elections: Have experience with bond elections, including campaign management and voter outreach.
