Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Methodist Hospital | Westover Hills. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for demonstrating expertise in various diagnostic radiography procedures for pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and adult patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Use digital equipment and PACS system with proficiency.
- Ensure proper infection control measures are followed during all procedures.
- Obtain patient histories and assist radiologists during procedures.
- Adhere to safety policies and ethical behavior expectations.
Additional Responsibilities
- May handle radiopharmaceuticals and controlled substances as necessary.
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of work area and stocking supplies.
- Support the mission and vision of the healthcare system.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have Certificate of Training in Radiologic Technology or Associates of Science in Radiologic Technology.
- No previous experience required.
- Current or previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.
