As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality components.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Working from blueprints, samples, and work orders to install and adjust tooling and fixtures in the work centers

• Calculating and writing programs for CNC work centers to fabricate component parts to stated engineering specifications

• Troubleshooting and resolving problems concerning machining operations, tools, materials, and CNC programs

• Performing secondary machining operations on component parts as required

• Analyzing component parts configuration and dimensions to determine the most efficient machining operations required for production

• Inserting computer programs into CNC work centers, setting machine speeds and feeds, modifying programs, and documenting changes as required

• Processing first-piece runs, analyzing, and making critical adjustments to tooling, programs, and process parameters of work centers

• Operating and monitoring work centers to perform progressive turning, boring, drilling, tapping, and reaming operations

• Fabricating simple holding fixtures as required for machining operations

• Inspecting parts for stated dimensions and surface imperfections for production runs

• Collaborating with engineering and supervisory personnel to troubleshoot and resolve design, equipment, and operating difficulties

• Performing preventative maintenance duties as scheduled by the maintenance department

• Assisting in training lower-level machinists and answering work questions, resolving operating difficulties, and reviewing completed work assignments

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• At least one year of manufacturing-related experience preferred

• Excellent organization and communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to effectively communicate between all levels of an organization
