Job Overview:

SoundOff Signal is a leading manufacturer of [products/services] and we are seeking an Operational Excellence Leader to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for driving process improvement initiatives within our manufacturing operations and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate SoundOff Signal's Core Values in daily interactions with internal and external customers.
  • Develop and implement a continuous improvement strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives.
  • Propose and implement innovative solutions to address manufacturing challenges and drive operational excellence.
  • Set clear, measurable goals for process improvement and track progress against these goals.
  • Analyze current manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
  • Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to develop and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead and manage continuous improvement projects from inception through completion.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and ensure the successful delivery of improvement initiatives.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports on project status, performance metrics, and improvement outcomes to senior management.
  • Train and mentor employees on continuous improvement principles, tools, and techniques.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement throughout the organization.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in continuous improvement.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing practices such as 5S, Visual Management, Value Stream Mapping, Error Proofing, Kanban Systems, Total Productive Maintenance, Kaizens, SMED, and Lean Metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt) a plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in continuous improvement roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully leading and implementing improvement projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
