About the Role

MSX International is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Specialist to join our team. As an Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the professional delivery, installation, and sustainment of MSX International Express Service prescribed solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Relationships - Develop and maintain a direct relationship with specifically assigned dealers, attend regional FCSD Organization meetings quarterly, and support launch and performance manager in planning meetings and Quick Lane launches.
  • Attend Annual Business Plan Meetings - Attend Annual Business Plan Meetings to discuss and align on regional objectives.
  • Create and Work Quick Lane Action Plans - Create and work Quick Lane Action Plans to achieve regional objectives.
  • Conduct Repair Order Analysis - Conduct Repair Order Analysis as needed to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop Quarterly Marketing Plan - Develop a Quarterly Marketing Plan and monitor adherence to ensure effective marketing strategies.
  • Ensure Scheduling of Quarterly Quick Lane Sales Events - Ensure the scheduling of Quarterly Quick Lane Sales Events to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Ensure Current Quick Lane POS is Updated and Displayed - Ensure the current Quick Lane POS is updated and displayed to provide an excellent customer experience.
  • Work with Quick Lane Manager - Work with the Quick Lane Manager to conduct periodic Competitive Ad and Price Surveys to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Review and Approve Co-op Claims - Review and approve Co-op claims to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.
  • Work with Quick Lane on Search Engine Optimization and Landing Page Claiming - Work with Quick Lane on Search Engine Optimization and Landing Page Claiming to improve online visibility and drive sales.
  • Monitor and Motivate Quick Lane Contest and Incentive Performance - Monitor and motivate Quick Lane Contest and Incentive Performance to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Manage Tire Sales Processes - Manage tire sales processes at each Quick Lane, including creating and maintaining Tire Screens, assisting with TIM Tool setup and monitoring, conducting periodic inventory reviews, and establishing Good/Better/Best Lineups.
  • Conduct On-Site Training - Conduct on-site training as needed, including ensuring Quick Lane team completion of all required STARS courses, VCU Training, RIM and 1⁄4 Time, Telephone Sales Skills, Customer Handling, Tire Sales Skills, Brake Sales Skills, and Credit Card Solicitation Skills.
  • Conduct Operational Review - Conduct operational reviews on every visit, including Action Plan reviews, KPI and Sales Performance reviews, Op code usage and submission, Work Flow Processes, Service Times, VCU and Sales Skills.
  • Provide Visit Summaries - Provide visit summaries to Dealer, District Operations Manager, and FCSD Region.
  • Complete Administrative Tasks - Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Aftermarket Experience - Possess Aftermarket Experience, preferably Retail Tire Store Management experience.
  • OEM Dealer Contact Experience - OEM dealer contact experience is a plus, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical Skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Internet Explorer.
  • Relationship Building - Ability to leverage relationships to identify and sell the business case for change.
  • Data Analysis - Analyzing data from dealer financials and operational assessments to establish improvement action plans.
  • Service Advisor Selling Systems - Implementation of service advisor selling systems and overall process improvement solutions at the aftermarket or retail level.
  • Metrics and Performance - Ability to understand, establish, and implement effective metrics to keep dealerships focused on growth and ROI.
  • PC Applications - Demonstrated proficiency with PC applications in a Windows environment.
  • Training and Development - Ability to train and utilize all aspects of Automotive Tire Sales and automotive service sales.
  • Leadership and Influence - Ability to influence the sales personnel and technicians in the training processes and monitoring the results.
  • Education - Bachelor Degree (preferred).
Work Environment
  • Travel Requirements - 80% Travel required.
  • Overnight Travel - Overnight travel required.
  • Remote Work - Ability to equally accommodate working from home office or remote location.
