Combat Medic Specialist

As a Combat Medic Specialist with the US Army, you will provide emergency medical care in the field, serving as a first responder to triage illnesses and injuries. Your role will involve administering medical treatment to battlefield casualties, assisting with outpatient and inpatient care, and preparing patients and equipment for surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer emergency medical treatment to casualties in the field.
  • Assist with outpatient and inpatient care and treatment.
  • Prepare patients, operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for surgery.

Requirements:

  • Age: 17 to 40 years old.
  • Education: Current Senior in High School (HS), HS Diploma, GED, or higher education level completed.
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident.
  • Background and medical screening.
  • Passing score on the ASVAB.
