Job Title: Simulation Framework Engineer

We are seeking a talented Simulation Framework Engineer with experience developing real-time virtual simulations that involve human-in-the-loop and constructive type simulations that use Monte-Carlo for ground vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development with C++ and Unreal Engine, as well as simulation frameworks that are maintainable and scalable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop real-time virtual simulations using C++ and Unreal Engine
  • Design and implement simulation frameworks that are maintainable and scalable
  • Work with customers to support the Ground Vehicle System Center (GVSC)
  • Collaborate with a multidiscipline team to overcome challenges and solve problems
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of software development with C++ and Unreal Engine
  • Experience with simulation frameworks that are maintainable and scalable
  • Proficient in physics simulation type software packages
  • Proficient in software development, architectures, frameworks, prototyping, and design
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Digital Engineering and tools like Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Background and knowledge of Ground Vehicles systems and subsystems
  • Familiarity with Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality synchronization and UX design
  • Experience with source control repositories such as Git and Gitlab
Education and Experience Requirements:

B.S or greater in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or technical discipline is required. Relevant graduate degrees will be given preference. 2 + years of experience is required.

Candidate must be a U.S Citizen. This position requires the candidate meet requirements to obtain a secret security clearance to access classified information. Inability to obtain a secret clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
