Job Title: Senior Software Developer

Strongbridge LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software products used by the Department of Transportation and the public at large.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on building and supporting software products that ensure the safety of drivers and passengers on public roadways. You will work closely with our technical lead to receive tasks and requirements details, analyze the scope of work, and provide estimated development timelines.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software products using C#, C++, or Java.
  • Build and maintain robust software solutions that will be in service over multiple years.
  • Work independently to implement, document, and maintain software products.
  • Collaborate with the test team to ensure high-quality software products.
  • Peer-review the work of colleagues and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Maintain source code version control in Azure DevOps.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3-8 years of work experience in software development or related field.
  • 2+ years of writing object-oriented code in C#, C++, or Java.
  • 2+ years of building.NET Framework and ASP.NET Core web applications or APIs.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with web UI frameworks like MVC, Angular, and Bootstrap.
  • 2+ years of designing objects in relational databases.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
Desired Skills
  • Experience with development in Azure Cloud using Azure Data Lake Services, Data Factory, Synapse analytics, SQL Managed Instance, etc.
  • Familiarity with desktop UI frameworks like Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) preferred.
  • Familiarity with JSON, XML, and XSLT.
