Job Summary:

Christian Care is seeking a part-time Service Assistant I to provide meal services to patients, including tray assembly, dish room, sanitation, and other related kitchen assignments at our Newark campus.

Responsibilities:
• Assemble patient meals with a high degree of accuracy and speed in accordance with the menu, utilizing appropriate serving utensils and portion control.
• Differentiate between regular, modified food, and liquids.
• Operate and maintain basic food service equipment, including dish machine, pot sink, and sanitation stations.
• Record temperatures according to procedures and maintain clean work areas.
• Comply with CC safety requirements, State Board of Health requirements, and regulatory agency requirements.

Requirements:
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and walk with weights up to 30 pounds.
• Must pass physical examination: drug-free; able to hear, able to see, able to speak, able to ambulate.
