Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Ozark Health Inc. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by performing laboratory tests and analyzing results.

Responsibilities:

• Collect blood specimens by venous and capillary puncture
• Prepare, handle, process, and store various specimens in accordance with laboratory testing standards
• Register outpatients, manage test ordering, oversee the receiving and distribution of specimens, and maintain files of patient reports
• Demonstrate proficiency in the operation, maintenance, calibration, and quality control of analytical equipment
• Conduct examinations and perform tests on human specimens with precision, contributing valuable information for patient diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring within the scope of education, training, competency, as determined by the Medical Director, ensuring quality care

Requirements:

• Associate of Science Degree or its equivalent, meeting the specified MLT/MT requirements
• Clinical experience in a laboratory setting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
