As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for registering patients using Lab Outreach, scanning laboratory documents into the Electronic Medical Record, and collecting blood samples by capillary, arterial, and venipuncture. Additional duties include transporting, receiving, centrifuging, aliquoting, and distributing specimens, submitting specimens to reference labs, and maintaining reference lab systems and files. You will also be responsible for maintaining supply inventory and receiving and distributing incoming supplies. To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent, successful completion of a phlebotomy training program, and one year of college with courses in mathematics and biology. National Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician is preferred, as is computer skills and knowledge of Medical Terminology. If you are a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
