Position Overview:

MPOWERHealth is actively seeking enthusiastic candidates to participate in our Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM) Training Program as Associate Technicians.

This comprehensive 1620-week paid training initiative will encompass practical experience, classroom education, and hands-on involvement in the operating room, all under the guidance of seasoned IOM Technologists. Graduates of this program will be thoroughly equipped to embark on a career as certified intraoperative neuromonitoring professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Associate Technician, your role will include:

  • Engaging in all training sessions, workshops, and lectures.
  • Learning to operate and troubleshoot IONM equipment and software.
  • Conducting IONM modalities (MEPs, SSEPs, EMG, TOF) during surgical procedures.
  • Collaborating with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintaining precise records of monitoring results and patient data.
  • Continuously enhancing skills and knowledge in IONM techniques and technologies.
  • Participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., biology, neuroscience, psychology).
  • Strong academic foundation in anatomy and physiology.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Capability to transport and set up neuromonitoring equipment (weighing up to 50lbs) in a timely manner.
