Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Therapist Coordinator to join our team at Glade Run Lutheran Services. As a Therapist Coordinator, you will play a critical role in providing mental health services to students in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students in a school setting
  • Triage and assess emotional and behavioral concerns in a public-school setting
  • Refer students to appropriate courses of treatment or emergency care services
  • Assist and advise school faculty in developing behavior management plans
  • Develop and provide group therapy on topics such as social skills, anxiety, grief, and anger management
  • Keep accurate and timely documentation of all therapeutic activities and plans
  • Act as the direct contact for the assigned school district and Student Assistance Program Liaisons
  • Provide clinical individual and group supervision of other therapists
  • Help manage referrals for assigned school district to outpatient clinics and psychiatric evaluations
  • Work with supervisor to plan and outline tasks and trainings for in-service days
  • Assist with onboarding new staff to new buildings and model intake process
  • Attend tabling events as requested by school district
  • Participate in the licensure supervision program as a licensed supervisor
  • Complete School Year and Summer Productivity requirements
  • Assist with overseeing at least 1 intern/year
  • Hold monthly meetings with assigned district building(s) to review rosters, caseloads, staffing, etc.
  • Understand, explain, and provide guidance for managing productivity expectations to therapists
  • Reinforce Glade Run Lutheran Services' policies and procedures with Glade Run staff in assigned school district(s)
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a counseling-related field
  • Three years of Master-level clinical experience, with at least six months of experience working with children/adolescents
  • Professional license and credentialed required
  • Must have at least one year of supervisory or clinical lead experience
  • Must have completed a clinical practicum during Master's program
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with agency personnel and community agencies
  • Ability to accept supervision
  • Ability to adjust hours to job requirements
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to protect the confidentiality of clients
  • Driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to identify with the agency's mission statement and support the agency's core values
  • Eligible for PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse History clearance, and FBI clearance
