Clinical Tech

The Clinical Tech plays a vital role in providing direct patient care to patients with supervision by department nursing staff and/or physicians. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one of the following: current nursing student who has minimally completed two semesters, LPN, EMT, Paramedic, or Medical Assistant program completion, certification in Phlebotomy, or previous Clinical Tech experience. Effective verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving skills are essential. The ability to recognize differences in care of adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups is also required. Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
Certifications/Licenses Required:
Valid BLS certification or obtained during Patient Care Orientation.
