Job Summary

The Clinical Tech is a vital member of our Emergency Care team, providing direct patient care under the supervision of department nursing staff and/or physicians. This role requires a strong foundation in patient care, with a focus on delivering high-quality services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign collection, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Assist with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges.
  • Participate in patient education, promoting health and wellness.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current nursing student with at least two semesters completed, or LPN, EMT, Paramedic, or Medical Assistant program completion.
  • Certification in Phlebotomy a plus.
  • Previous Clinical Tech experience preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to recognize differences in care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups.
Certifications/Licenses
  • Valid BLS certification required.
