Resumen

Responsable de cargar y descargar camiones, vagones de carga y furgones con paletas y contenedores, así como realizar tareas generales de limpieza u otras asignadas.

Funciones y Responsabilidades Principales

  • Prepara pedidos organizando los suministros necesarios para los trabajos próximos; coloca los pedidos en el área de envío/almacenamiento.
  • Mantiene el control de inventario recolectando existencias, localizando pedidos e imprimiendo solicitudes.
  • Opera montacargas de manera controlada y segura para garantizar la integridad de las paletas.
  • Completa informes e ingresa la información requerida correctamente en varios sistemas de facturación.
  • Aprende y utiliza GMP, SQF y asiste a la capacitación según sea necesario.
  • Mantiene un ambiente de trabajo limpio y seguro, manteniendo estanterías y áreas de trabajo ordenadas.
  • Contribuye al esfuerzo del equipo y trabaja de manera colaborativa con otros empleados.

Condiciones de Trabajo

  • Se espera que trabaje en un almacén y áreas que no están climatizadas durante todas las estaciones.
  • Exposición a granos crudos y polvo de grano.

Calificaciones y Habilidades Requeridas

  • Más de 2 años de experiencia en almacén, incluyendo carga/descarga de camiones, requerido.
  • Conocimiento de la distribución adecuada del peso, requerido.
  • Experiencia básica en computación y entrada de datos, preferiblemente en sistemas ERP u otros sistemas de inventario electrónico.
  • Certificación de montacargas - preferible pero no requerida, mínimo de 1 año de experiencia continua en montacargas.
  • Experiencia con escáner RF, preferible.
  • Capacidad para levantar 50 lb.
