Position Overview:
The Industrial Production Engineer is essential in managing the manufacturing workflow to guarantee that operations are conducted with high standards of safety and efficiency.

This position requires collaboration with fellow engineers to devise strategies that enhance product quality, minimize expenses, and bolster process dependability.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accuracy and currency of production documentation and drawings, ensuring adherence to revision control and engineering standards.

• Supervise the manufacturing process to confirm compliance with safety regulations and quality benchmarks.

• Diagnose electromechanical issues and provide assistance to production teams facing challenges stemming from design or supplier discrepancies.

• Offer technical guidance to production staff to address on-site challenges.

• Collaborate with the procurement department to source replacement parts and engage with external vendors to rectify quality concerns.

• Request samples and expedite component delivery for assessment, ensuring prompt arrival and quality assurance.

• Engage in the research and collection of technical data related to component selection and vendor evaluation.

• Assess new materials and components to support both product development and production requirements.

Training and Development:
• Conduct training sessions for production personnel on essential skills such as soldering and crimping, while also supporting cross-training efforts across various production areas.

• Create and implement training resources to enhance the competencies of production staff.

Process Improvement:
• Aid in the transition of products from engineering to production, which includes inventory management and reviewing assembly documentation.

• Initiate and promote continuous process enhancements by evaluating both new and existing production methodologies.

• Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and minimize waste.

• Lead initiatives aimed at ongoing process improvement, concentrating on boosting efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and adopt best practices in manufacturing.

Additional Duties:
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
• An Associate's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

• Strong technical problem-solving abilities with a knack for troubleshooting electronic assemblies.

• Proficient in interpreting schematics and conducting basic electronic troubleshooting.

• Capability to solder and handle electronic components.

• Familiarity with engineering drawings and specifications for electrical and mechanical components.

• Working knowledge of CAD software, MRP/ERP systems, and general MS Windows applications.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective teamwork.

• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Dedication to continuous improvement and principles of lean manufacturing.
