Job Title: Lead Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of innovative medical devices. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and development, with experience in regulated industries such as medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and document new part designs and changes to existing parts according to internal and external requirements
  • Work with in-house clinical application experts to define and optimize transducer designs
  • Collaborate with process engineers to design and document manufacturing production fixtures
  • Create, edit, and approve engineering changes, work instructions, and other documentation as required
  • Support transducer/part/process qualifications and V&V activities
  • Provide regular updates to the management team on project status
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of experience or Associates Degree in Engineering and 5+ years of experience
  • Expert skill with 3D CAD software, preferably Solidworks (and/or Creo)
  • Working knowledge of design for manufacturability, engineering material properties, FEA software, dimensioning and tolerancing, measuring equipment, PLM and PDM systems, Microsoft Office software, and statistical approaches to analyzing data

  • Ability to work in an international and cross-functional team environment

  • Ability to generate clear and concise written communication and lead discussions among colleagues
