Job Summary:

Comfort Keepers is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care services to our clients. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in helping elderly and disabled individuals maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities: Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Provide Companionship and Emotional Support: Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting a sense of well-being and comfort.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist with Meal Planning and Preparation: Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding, ensuring clients receive nutritious and delicious meals.
  • Administer Medications: Administer medications as instructed by the client's healthcare provider, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
  • Record Keeping: Keep accurate and detailed records of client care, daily activities, and changes in condition, ensuring seamless communication with healthcare providers.
  • Monitor and Report Concerns: Monitor and report any physical or emotional concerns to the client's family and professional caregivers, ensuring prompt attention and support.
  • Accompany Clients: Accompany clients to appointments and social events as needed, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Light Housekeeping: Complete light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and dishes, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in caregiving or a related field.
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Criminal Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Confidentiality: Willingness to adhere to all policies and procedures of Comfort Keepers and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Physical and Emotional Fitness: Must be physically and emotionally fit to perform job duties, including lifting up to 25 pounds and bending, twisting, and kneeling.
