Job Description

Family Practice is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Fairfax, VA. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for administering medications and immunizations, providing education to patients, and assisting with ordering and maintenance of clinical supplies and equipment. You will also work with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, coordinated, and patient-centered primary care. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse, with a strong background in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, and Women's Health. **Responsibilities:**

  • Administer medications and immunizations
  • Provide education to patients
  • Assist with ordering and maintenance of clinical supplies and equipment
  • Work with multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, coordinated, and patient-centered primary care
  • Respond to patient phone calls, questions, and requests for care
  • Inform patients of lab and diagnostic results and need for follow-up care
  • Assist patients in navigating the healthcare system
  • Participate in clinic quality improvement and risk management activities

**Requirements:**

  • 1+ years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Strong background in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, and Women's Health
  • Fluency in Spanish highly preferred
  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in Virginia
  • BLS/CPR required
