Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous, hands-on, results-oriented professional with exceptional communication abilities and a robust work ethic to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will oversee all facets of the quality control production process, including managing fall-out, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards. This role is critical in aligning division and departmental practices with corporate requirements, achieving set objectives, and maintaining current ISO certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the ISO-compliant and cost-effective production of designated products or sub-products.
  • Prioritize production schedules based on product launches, equipment efficiency, and material availability.
  • Develop and implement procedural guidelines.
  • Establish schedules and manpower needs for assigned areas.
  • Address diverse problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Exercise judgment within defined practices and policies to select appropriate methods and techniques for solutions.
  • Engage frequently with subordinate supervisors, customers, and functional peer group managers, with potential interactions with senior management.
  • Facilitate coordination of departmental activities with accountability for results concerning costs, methods, and staffing.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage through subordinate supervisors the coordination of departmental activities, ensuring accountability for results in terms of costs, methods, and staffing.
  • Typically oversee 2 or more direct reports.

Qualifications:

Education: A Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Comprehensive understanding of product manufacturing processes and rationales.
  • Solid knowledge of regulations, including ISO, OSHA, and employee relations.
  • Advanced understanding of manufacturing systems.
  • Thorough grasp of manufacturing costs and their influences.
  • Experience in high product throughput environments.
  • Background in Semiconductor or Circuit board manufacturing is advantageous.
