Position Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous, proactive, and results-oriented individual with exceptional communication skills and a robust work ethic to thrive in a fast-paced and energetic environment. The successful candidate will oversee all facets of the quality control production process, including fall-out management, audits, and ISO compliance, ensuring that both divisional and departmental practices align with corporate standards while achieving established objectives and maintaining current ISO certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the ISO-compliant and cost-effective production of designated products or sub-products.
  • Prioritize production schedules based on product launches, equipment efficiency, and material availability.
  • Develop and implement procedural guidelines.
  • Establish schedules and manpower requirements for designated areas.
  • Address diverse challenges where analysis of situations or data necessitates evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Exercise sound judgment within established practices and policies to select appropriate methods and techniques for problem-solving.
  • Engage regularly with subordinate supervisors, customers, and peer group managers, with potential interactions with senior management.
  • Facilitate coordination between functional areas, divisions, or customers and the organization.
  • Assist the Manufacturing Manager in coordinating departmental activities, ensuring accountability for results related to costs, methods, and staffing.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage the coordination of departmental activities through subordinate supervisors, ensuring accountability for results in terms of costs, methods, and staffing.
  • Typically supervise two or more direct reports.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Comprehensive understanding of product manufacturing processes and rationales.
  • Strong working knowledge of regulatory standards (ISO, OSHA, employee relations, etc.).
  • Advanced familiarity with manufacturing systems.
  • Solid grasp of manufacturing costs and their influences.
  • Experience in high product throughput environments.
  • Background in Semiconductor or Circuit board manufacturing is advantageous.
