Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure to facilitate customer applications.
  • Citrix System Oversight: Administer the Citrix environment on a daily basis.
  • Security Enhancements: Strengthen Citrix services in accordance with industry best practices and necessary cybersecurity regulations.
  • Issue Resolution: Conduct root cause analysis for any Citrix-related issues within the cloud environment.
  • Software Maintenance: Organize and execute major upgrades of Citrix software.
  • Documentation Development: Create and sustain comprehensive documentation for systems, infrastructure, and processes, including system diagrams and standard operating procedures.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Development: Design, implement, and manage IaC for Citrix services.
  • Application Troubleshooting: Diagnose and analyze issues related to customer applications, including network and operating system problems.
  • AWS Resource Management: Oversee AWS resources, set up alerts, and manage cloud resources effectively.
  • After-Hours Support: Provide support for production incidents outside of regular hours.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Suggest enhancements for security, scalability, and performance across various technologies.

Required Skills:

  • Cloud Engineering Experience: Significant experience with IaaS; familiarity with PaaS is a plus.
  • Networking Fundamentals: Basic understanding of routing, firewalls, and load balancing; knowledge of server technologies is advantageous.
  • AWS Proficiency: Strong expertise with Amazon AWS cloud services.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven experience managing large-scale projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong troubleshooting capabilities across the technology stack.
  • Automation Experience: Familiarity with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Python, and others.
  • DoD Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of DoD STIGs and IA Vulnerability Management is preferred.
