Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join our team at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria. As a key member of our Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, you will provide comprehensive health care to patients in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, while also participating in the educational and clinical training of residents and medical students.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in Maternal Fetal Medicine
  • Teach, train, mentor, and precept residents and medical students in the context of clinical Maternal Fetal Medicine
  • Consultative model allowing Maternal Fetal Medicine to attend deliveries if preferred but not required
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including APPs, sonographers, diabetes educators, perinatal nutritionists, and a genetic counselor
  • Develop and deliver academic presentations
  • Participate in shared call and other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois
  • Experience with mentoring and training residents and medical students
  • Demonstrated ability to produce scholarly activity
