At Actalent, we are seeking a skilled Superintendent of Construction to join our team. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage construction projects, including planning, organizing, and overseeing project tasks
  • Supervise field staff, sub-contractors, and ensure overall project safety and quality
  • Monitor construction activities, from project initiation to completion
  • Lead communication between trades, disciplines, clients, and office leadership
  • Report daily progress to the Project Manager and Construction Director
Requirements:
  • Jobsite safety management
  • Project quality control
  • Review submittals
  • Project scheduling
  • Manage project materials
  • Daily reporting
  • Communication with trades/sub-contractors, clients, and office leadership
Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in the Kalamazoo Area. You will work on jobsites around the SW Michigan area, including commercial buildings, schools, fire stations, and county buildings. You will be provided with a company truck, gas card, and cell phone.

What We Offer:

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with an initial duration of 12 Month(s). You will work on a weekly schedule, Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm, with hourly pay and overtime opportunities.
