Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize safety in all work practices.

  • Oversee the initiation, progress, assignment, and completion of general maintenance work orders, identifying opportunities for improvement to enhance repair efficiency and reduce failures.
  • Provide ongoing technical and engineering support to the Mechanical Maintenance and IEC Maintenance Departments, facilitating collaboration across multiple departments to ensure timely and professional completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate and schedule non-routine maintenance activities, including emergency shutdowns.
  • Maintain comprehensive records for all plant equipment, including major repairs, purchasing documentation, and associated costs.
  • Develop and manage a computerized preventive maintenance system to ensure timely maintenance of plant equipment, thereby minimizing equipment failures.
  • Coordinate plant turnarounds effectively.
  • Engage in various project and maintenance engineering tasks as required to support the Maintenance/Engineering Department.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • Preferred experience of one to two years in a petrochemical or manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will be self-driven, possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, and successfully complete a Functional Job Capacity Evaluation (FCE).

Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check, with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) being mandatory.
