Position Overview

As a Child Care Services Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing a diverse caseload of clients to facilitate positive outcomes for families in need of child care assistance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Client Management: Oversee a portfolio of customers, ensuring they receive the necessary support and resources.
  • Intake Services: Provide comprehensive intake services for families applying for subsidized child care programs.
  • Referral Coordination: Accept and manage referrals for child care from authorized sources, ensuring a seamless process.
  • Eligibility Determination: Assess, verify, and document eligibility for services, promptly notifying families of their status.
  • Enrollment Facilitation: Enroll eligible children in programs as authorized by relevant agencies and service providers.
  • Compliance Promotion: Encourage parental adherence to the Personal Responsibility Agreement, implementing necessary sanctions when required.
  • Child Care Placement: Facilitate the enrollment of children in suitable child care settings.
  • Payment Authorization: Authorize payments to eligible parents upon receipt of appropriate documentation.
  • Fee Assessment: Evaluate and determine parent fees based on established guidelines.
  • Service Implementation: Execute strategies for client service, fund allocation, enrollment, and prioritization of services.
  • Rights Education: Clearly explain parents' rights and responsibilities, including attendance obligations.
  • Attendance Tracking: Monitor and record attendance and utilization of services.
  • Fraud Reporting: Identify and refer any suspected fraud or misuse to the appropriate authorities.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter client and case information into the designated management system.
  • Quality Assurance Support: Assist in preparing responses for quality assurance evaluations.
  • Informational Support: Provide necessary guidance and support to parents regarding processes.
  • Provider Coordination: May involve coordinating the recruitment and oversight of local relative child care providers.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support the organization’s mission.
