- Equipment Operation: Operate and fine-tune ultrasound machinery, ensuring cleanliness and making minor adjustments while adhering to safety standards to protect both patients and staff.
- Patient Communication: Engage with patients and healthcare professionals, providing clear explanations of procedures and addressing general inquiries.
- Procedure Planning: Develop tailored examination plans based on patient health information, utilizing professional judgment to enhance imaging outcomes.
- Analysis and Reporting: Analyze sonographic results to ensure comprehensive examinations that aid in accurate diagnosis, while minimizing patient exposure to acoustic energy.
- Documentation: Record diagnostic images and relevant data for physician review and maintain an organized archive of findings.
- Work Environment: Ensure a safe and sanitary workspace, assisting in the orientation and training of new ultrasound staff.
- Additional Duties: Perform various administrative tasks as required, including scheduling and managing supplies.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
- Certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong knowledge of administrative practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
