Position Summary
This role involves managing straightforward, non-technical claims-related tasks while adhering to established quality, productivity, and procedural standards as directed by management or a claims adjuster. The individual will handle a specific line of claims or a mix of claims from various segments, ensuring to provide empathetic service that is efficient, equitable, and straightforward to promote customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities- Complete necessary documentation, log files into the system, and direct them to the appropriate departments.
- Generate and distribute required forms to insured parties or claimants for completion.
- Engage with customers or third-party claim-related contacts to gather and provide essential information in compliance with quality and process standards.
- Establish and maintain a connection with customers by understanding and addressing their needs.
- Manage incoming calls and electronic correspondence, screening and routing as necessary.
- Retrieve, print, fax, or mail supporting documents to vendors or other parties as instructed.
- Handle claim files by locating, requesting, filing paperwork, reconstructing missing files, and transferring documents as needed.
- Perform clerical tasks including data entry, filing, email management, calendar coordination, and word processing.
Education: A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position does not involve supervisory duties.
CompensationThe compensation for this role is competitive and based on experience and qualifications.
