Key Responsibilities:
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with parents, guardians, staff, and community members. Ensure that all communication is respectful, thoughtful, and sensitive to diverse cultures, values, and needs.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Director of Operations and other school leaders. Ensure that the main office is well-organized, welcoming, and equipped with necessary resources.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all visitors and volunteers are screened before entry and that school signage is up-to-date and secure.
  • Data Entry and Management: Enter and maintain accurate student data, including application and registration forms, parent contact and health information, and student behavioral reports.
  • Finance Support: Assist with financial transactions, including accepting payments, completing bank deposits, and reconciling petty cash and credit card statements.
  • Student Recruitment: Process applications, create physical folders for new students, and assist with scheduling Commitment to Excellence meetings.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in operations, maintenance, and administration, preferably in a school setting.
  • Associate Degree preferred.
  • First Aid Certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships across teams.
  • Comfort with a broad range of technology hardware and software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with a proven ability to meet and complete multiple deadlines and tasks.
