The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in all clinical laboratory areas, ensuring accurate and timely laboratory results. This role is pivotal in fostering strong relationships among laboratory personnel, physicians, nursing staff, and other hospital departments.

The Laboratory Department Shift Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Laboratory Director to uphold policies, procedures, and the overall functionality of the department and associated laboratories.


Key Qualifications

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Licensure/Certification: State of Florida Supervisor (SU) license
  • Training: ASCP MT or equivalent; LIS Training and/or experience

Required Experience:

  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
  • A minimum of five years of experience is required to comply with state regulations
