About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Manager to join our Life Cycle Management and Sourcing team at Padagis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading site-to-site technology transfers and API qualifications with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), ensuring production supply continuity and compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage site-to-site technology transfers to ensure seamless production and supply chain continuity
  • Partner with Quality and Regulatory teams to qualify Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) for externally manufactured products, ensuring they meet our stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs) with CMOs, focusing on favorable terms that align with our strategic sourcing objectives
  • Address critical sourcing needs for our Minnesota manufacturing site, ensuring uninterrupted supply and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and lifecycle management, particularly with the External Supply Chain Management team
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with CMOs, fostering partnerships that enhance our operational agility and market responsiveness
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize sourcing processes and reduce costs without compromising quality
Requirements
  • Seven or more (7+) years of directly related experience in pharmaceutical sourcing, with a focus on external manufacturing and supplier relationship management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated experience in cGMP, FDA, DEA, and other relevant pharmaceutical regulations
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful MSA negotiations
  • Ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and process optimization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining effective working relationships
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing the activities/actions of external supply partners
