Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and laws.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and forecasts to evaluate our financial performance against budget, implementing appropriate strategies as necessary.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Review and improve existing accounting systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary information and preparing needed reports.
  • Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends, analyzing change and advising accordingly.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and legislation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and critically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
