Key Responsibilities

The Senior Revenue Management Analyst is tasked with a blend of market revenue enhancement, process optimization, and team leadership. Key responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring and establishing pricing strategies based on market dynamics, load factors, and demand to maximize revenue through rules-based decision-support tools.
  • Identifying best practices and opportunities for process enhancements, designing innovative solutions.
  • Providing oversight and performance management for the team, ensuring alignment with revenue KPIs.
  • Maintaining awareness of competitive market conditions and recommending necessary adjustments.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior analysts to foster their development.

Essential Functions
  • Analyze data and summarize findings; develop, review, and present actionable conclusions.
  • Extract insights from data to create solutions based on identified opportunities.
  • Optimize revenue through effective seat allocation strategies.
  • Assist and lead analysts in establishing market and flight-level forecasting and management approaches.
  • Provide training and mentorship to Revenue Management Analysts I & II.
  • Validate and optimize demand forecasts for selected markets.
  • Evaluate market influences and performance, identifying demand trends.
  • Monitor individual progress towards market objectives and strategies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Business, Aviation Management, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Advanced degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Operations Research is preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in relevant revenue management roles.
  • Familiarity with revenue management systems is essential.
  • Ability to independently identify issues and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with SQL, Python, or VBA is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Thorough understanding of revenue management principles and practices.
  • Ability to work autonomously with flexibility in workload planning.
  • Skill in summarizing variances and presenting recommendations to management.
  • Competence in producing high-quality quantitative analyses.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with all organizational levels.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on ownership and results.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
