Amity Foundation, a renowned Teaching and Therapeutic Community, is in search of dedicated and caring individuals who are eager to contribute to our mission as an Overnight Monitor (Eternal Vigilance) at our residential facilities. This unique role involves working within our residential programs to support the inmate population while gaining valuable experience in the field.

Compensation: $17-$19/hr
Key Responsibilities:
As an Overnight Monitor, your contributions to the community will include:
- Monitoring residents during quiet hours while remaining alert and awake.
- Conducting bed checks and documenting findings as required.
- Assuming supervisory duties in the absence of faculty members.
- Communicating with designated faculty regarding any issues or incidents.
- Completing necessary documentation for faculty meetings.
- Serving as a mentor and positive role model for assigned residents.
- Intervening and reporting any altercations or incidents among residents.
- Administering First Aid and CPR during emergencies, following American Red Cross guidelines.
- Executing emergency evacuation procedures as needed.
- Assisting in maintaining the facility and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- Managing Critical Incidents and reporting them as they occur during your shift.
- Uploading clinical documentation, such as motivation logs and intention forms.
- Performing additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED.
- Willingness to work various overnight shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Capability to operate general office equipment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Basic understanding of contemporary substance abuse treatment practices in a residential context.
- Effective communication skills.
- Capacity to remain sensitive and objective under pressure related to substance abuse issues.
- RADT certification is a plus.
