Job Summary

Security Installer V

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Installer V to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of complex integrated security systems, including access control, CCTV, and digital recorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure access control systems, CCTV cameras, and digital recorders
  • Perform system checks for proper operation and troubleshoot issues
  • Configure IP addresses, subnet masks, and gateways on customer networks
  • Provide desktop support for customers and JCI, including installation and configuration of software and hardware
  • Configure servers and workstations and domain credentials, IP address, and remote desktop
  • Conduct end-user training and provide technical support

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Industry-recognized apprentice training program or significant background in digital and analog camera systems, access control systems, and alarm systems
  • Experience with IP addressable security devices and advanced TCP/IP networking skills
  • Proficient with ADT A.I. core card access and CCTV systems
  • Ability to operate a company truck with an acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or 2-year technical school program graduate
  • Proficiencies in access control software experience and programming
