Work Schedule: Standard School Days, Monday to Friday, with extended hours one day a week.
Compensation: $18-$20 per hour
Role Summary:

Ascent Classical Academy of Grand Junction is seeking Educational Support Specialists for the Grammar School. This institution is committed to providing a robust educational experience, currently serving grades K-9 and planning to expand further.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with educators to deliver a rich classical curriculum while adhering to established guidelines.
- Step in as a substitute educator when necessary.
- Assist with classroom management tasks, including organizing and evaluating student work, preparing instructional materials, and maintaining an orderly environment.
- Foster positive relationships with students by monitoring progress, managing classroom behavior, and providing individualized support.
- Support daily school operations, including overseeing arrival and dismissal routines, lunch periods, and transitions.
- Guide and mentor students respectfully, utilizing classical teaching methodologies.
- Collaborate with the Student Services team to fulfill the requirements of special educational plans.
- Ensure confidentiality in handling student information.
- Maintain a professional rapport with students, parents, and colleagues, contributing to a collaborative learning community.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
